Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Registration required; S.E. preferred.
• 12-15 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Knowledge in CMU design; wood experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Risa, RAM, ETABS, and SAP2000; drafting skills in Revit and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope, structural budget, and design approach collaboratively with team and clients.
• Lead larger projects, overseeing staff production quality, budget adherence, and schedule management.
• Stay updated with code publications and apply them to structural analysis and documentation.
• Analyze loading on structures, including wind and seismic, and detail this on construction drawings.
• Develop innovative design solutions based on engineering judgment.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-integrated construction documents.
• Manage project files with calculations and correspondence, documenting all project materials.
