Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related scientific field.
  • Experience in SAS programming within the pharmaceutical sector, specifically with SDTM and ADaM standards.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, design, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to program and validate complex datasets and outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Program and validate complex datasets and SDTMs, addressing both efficacy and lab data.
  • Develop, debug, and implement advanced macros to enhance programming efficiency.
  • Create, quality check, and update detailed specifications for datasets across one or multiple studies.
  • Act as the designated point of contact for programming-related issues within the team.
  • Ensure cohesive functioning of programming tasks and address issues proactively.

Overview

Work as a senior programmer on clinical and non-clinical trials; producing complex datasets and outputs to excellent quality whilst adhering to deliverable timelines. 

Responsibilities

· Program and validate datasets and SDTMs, including complex efficacy, labs, etc., program complex non efficacy outputs/ figures, develop and debug complex macros· Create, QC and update complex dataset specifications (including efficacy) for single/ multiple studies· Responsible for study level resources· Point of contact for programming issues for the team, proactively ensuring everything is working cohesively

Qualifications

· Educated to BSc or above within Computer Science, Mathematics or a Science related discipline· SAS Programming Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, experience of programming to SDTM and ADaM standards · Good awareness of clinical trial issues, design, and implementation, familiarity with GCP and regulatory requirements
