Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Specialty Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Responsible for supporting the Model Risk Validation Environment and provide technical leadership and contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of the specialized, highly complex software in the areas of Big data Analytics, Model Development and Validation support. Support Model Validation platform built on with technologies like IBM Spectrum Conductor, Spark, Conda and Linux for regular patching and vulnerabilities remediation. Work with the Model validators and provide them with suitable environment to complete the validation of the model and provide support for tasks like building servers, installing and configuration of the software. Provide Subject matter expertise as a Hadoop/IBM Conductor Specialist/Engineer to support qualitative and quantitative risk models for multiple LOBs. Implement and configure DevOps for Hadoop environment, including working with very tech-savvy business users to help provide support in CICD pipeline-related issues. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.

Amount and type of experience required: 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation involving software engineering experience.

•              Experience with REST;

•              Experience with Splunk;

•              Experience with Python;

•              Experience with Hadoop;
