Senior Mainframe Developer for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise mainframe applications that support critical business operations. This individual will leverage deep technical expertise to deliver high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing technical leadership when needed.

Required Qualifications of the Senior Mainframe Developer:
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in application development, systems testing, application support, or related information technology functions.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing applications within enterprise mainframe environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with one or more core mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS.
  • Experience analyzing business and technical requirements and translating them into effective software solutions.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues.
  • Experience supporting production environments and managing application enhancements through implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Mainframe Developer:
  • Experience working in CICS environments.
