The OpportunityJoin a Talent Acquisition team with a vital mission: building a qualified, diverse workforce dedicated to serving communities across Canada. We are seeking two (2) passionate and strategic Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists to help us achieve this goal.
Your Role as a Strategic PartnerReporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will serve as a key strategic advisor and recruiter. In this role, you will act as a primary brand ambassador for CBC/Radio-Canada, fostering trust and building long-term relationships with hiring managers.
Your success will be driven by your ability to develop and execute innovative talent attraction strategies that deliver an exceptional experience for both candidates and managers, reflecting our corporate values at every stage of the process.
Key Responsibilities:- Full-Cycle Recruitment Partnership: Advise hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including needs identification, crafting compelling job descriptions, selecting strategic sourcing channels, developing interview guides, participating in selection boards, and extending offers.
- Talent Strategy & Sourcing: Implement proactive attraction strategies to build a qualified and diverse workforce. Maintain a continuous talent pipeline by sourcing candidates through culturally relevant channels, social media, internal databases, and professional networks.
- Compliance & Advisory: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with collective agreements, corporate policies, and relevant labor legislation.
- Stakeholder Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and candidates, providing timely updates and support while promoting our employer brand and benefits.
- Networking: Represent the organization at targeted recruitment events, such as job fairs and industry trade shows, to expand our reach.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous enhancement of recruitment processes by staying current with evolving industry best practices.
What You Bring:- Proven ability to lead and influence recruitment processes, negotiate hiring conditions, and provide effective client consultation.
- Superior interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A proactive and creative approach to implementing innovative sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated capability to manage a high volume of specialized recruitment assignments in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Strong judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality and procedural integrity.
- Experience working within a unionized environment is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (experience with Workday is a plus).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suites is an asset.
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field is an asset.
