What you can expect from this position:

Reporting to the Manager, Supplier Relationship Management, you will lead supplier relationship management and sourcing analytics activities that strengthen supplier governance, contract performance, risk management and value realization. You will partner with business units, Strategic Sourcing and suppliers to translate complex pricing, spend, market and performance data into clear insights, recommendations and action plans.

As Senior Specialist, Supplier Relationship Management & Sourcing Analytics, you will:

  • Maintain existing supplier relationships and develop new relationships based on supplier segmentation.
  • Develop supplier governance strategies, service level agreements and key performance indicators in collaboration with business units and Strategic Sourcing.
  • Monitor, report on and improve supplier performance through governance forums, performance reviews, scorecards and improvement plans.
  • Assess supplier and contract risks, escalate significant issues and support effective mitigation and business continuity strategies.
  • Provide contract management guidance to stakeholders and support supplier adherence to contractual terms, conditions and scopes of work.
  • Build complex pricing structures for RFx initiatives and contracts and analyze bid and contract pricing to support negotiations and decision-making.
  • Gather, cleanse and analyze spend, purchasing, supplier financial, market intelligence, benchmark and performance data to produce fact-based insights.
  • Maintain supplier monitoring plans, obligation calendars, and centralized supplier documentation to enable cross-functional reporting and analysis.
  • Facilitate supplier performance meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up with stakeholders to drive timely completion.
  • Support supplier diversity, knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with enterprise goals.


External: This unionized position is classified at the Band 8 level, with an hourly wage range of $53.06, based on a 37.5-hour work week. As part of the recruitment process, you may be required to complete an assessment.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • Minimum three years of experience in a fast-paced, similar industry or public-sector environment, directly or indirectly managing large, complex corporate contracts and suppliers and analyzing data from multiple sources.
  • Experience managing varied and complex pricing structures and providing analysis to support contract negotiations.
  • Experience planning and partnering with clients, and supervising, coaching or mentoring others.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning tools, particularly Oracle.
  • University degree with a specialization in Business Management, Supply Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop and assess complex pricing structures, cost drivers, market benchmarks and total-cost considerations to support sourcing and negotiation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain detailed information, risks, options and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship, collaboration and influencing skills across business units, Strategic Sourcing, suppliers and other corporate partners.
  • Excellent organization, planning and adaptability, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and follow through on commitments.
