POSITION SUMMARY

Join the NUSA TAG Center of Excellence!

Ensure that all processes relating to Product Mastership across Raw (ingredient) and Packaging (Material Specifications, Recipe Management, Product Specifications and Compliant Label Communications) are integrated at market level across functions and businesses and comply with the relevant recipe management and specification-related GIs, Guidelines and all other Nestlé and external standards.
Provide leadership and are accountable for ensuring Product System Mastership within NUSA including harmonization and information quality, working with global partners in material management. Lead SAP-RM release evaluation and deployment within NUSA. Actively uncovers opportunities for process simplification and optimization (area of opportunity to current scope - acquisition/divestitures/ways of working/packaging data integrity, Pkg CSV improvements, mapping sessions, etc.).

This role has primary market accountability for specification system mastership across both Raw (ingredient) and Packaging materials, including material specifications, BOM structures, lifecycle governance, and master data integrity within SAP RM and SAP.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee strategic direction for SAP RM and SAP within the market. Provides leadership for NUSA SAP RM implementation, SAP S/4HANA and ongoing market stewardship for materials across Raw and Packaging, BOMs, and recipes. Serves as the single point of contact for BOM SAP SME and NUSA for SAP RM system performance and issue escalation. Acts as the market escalation point for Raw and Packaging specification related system issues impacting compliance, supply continuity, manufacturing execution, or data accuracy.
  • Serves as the single point of contact for BOM SAP SME and NUSA for SAP-RM system performance and issue escalation. Activate relevant resources to quickly resolve any systems, process or performance issues and provide relevant communication and feedback. Responsible for role request review and approval to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Oversees material specification strategies related to potential harmonization, process efficiency and management for NUSA. Provides market leadership for material specification governance, with primary accountability for maintenance, deactivation, sustainability, and data integrity. Collaborate with PTC, TAG, Regulatory, Procurement, other market leads to resolve issues and enable efficient, timely shared specification approvals. Engages with global counterparts on harmonization initiatives and serves as the NUSA market advocate for responses and factory alignment, including ownership of relevant global material master data KPIs (e.g., FERT to Foodstuff).
  • Ensure system rollout and release robustness. Lead team to test new global system releases and global system migration to ensure flawless execution. Develop and/or ensure the deployment of relevant material and process standards within the Nestlé systems. Leads deployment of market communications, training, and knowledge transfer associated with system rollouts and releases, including enablement for acquisitions, divestitures, or organizational changes, to ensure sustained adoption and correct system usage across NUSA.
  • Drives continuous improvement of technical capabilities and personal development. Continuously builds technical, digital, and business acumen, proactively expanding internal and external networks. Demonstrates curiosity and application of digital solutions (e.g., Power BI) and engages stakeholders to implement solutions using a data driven approach.
  • Proactively uncovers opportunities for process simplification and optimization across Raw and Packaging specification lifecycles, utilizing system and process insights to drive organizational improvements. Examples include acquisition/divestitures, ways of working, process mapping, Raw and Packaging data integrity improvements (including CSV standards), and special projects aligned with TAG CoE roadmap priorities.
  • This role does not own ingredient formulation, packaging design, supplier selection, or regulatory approval decisions. The role is accountable for Raw and Packaging specification system governance, master data integrity, and cross functional alignment, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely specification data availability across Nestlé USA.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • A BS in a technical or related field
  • Prefer at least 5 years of product, package or process development with market experience in CPG
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in previous roles, and ability to drive healthy challenge
  • Experience managing a project or change initiative
  • Preferred candidate will have experience or knowledge with multiple types of ingredients and/or processes or application procedures
  • System Skills: SAP-RM and SAP experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high performing environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills, extremely detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, presentation, oral and written with ability to adapt to audience which can include Business, Technical, Procurement and Manufacturing backgrounds
  • Highly motivated, critical thinker, goal-oriented and easily adapts to change
