We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to join our Organizational Change Management (OCM) team supporting the ERP organizational change management team and the business process owners. In this pivotal role you develop key presentations and communications leveraging experts for both internal and external stakeholders. You will take direction from multiple experts within the project in order to create effective communication deliverables. Your work will be designed around the execution of comprehensive communication plans and change management needs.The Senior Specialist is expected to engage in such a way that they address they are able to help the OCM team optimize stakeholder engagement, deliver transparency in the Communication approach, and support the end users for a successful adoption of new systems and processes, ultimately minimizing disruption and maximizing project outcomes.
This is a contract position for a period of 3 months. Preferred location for this role is Toronto or Montreal.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications Execution
Complete comprehensive and multiplatform communications tailored to stakeholders' needs and as requested by the OCM team
Craft clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate messaging across various channels, including internal platforms, email, presentations, and Finance All-Staff / Senior Finance Managers meetings.
Cross-collaborate with project teams, the Project Management Office (PMO), and senior leadership (SLT), and OCM to ensure alignment and integration of communication efforts with overall project goals.
Proactively identify and manage potential communication risks and challenges.
Assess the effectiveness of communication efforts and recommend / refine approach to achieve results.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, fostering trust and collaboration.
Proactively seek input and feedback from stakeholders, incorporating their perspectives into communication and change management strategies.
Facilitate effective two-way communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations,
Experience: 5+ years of experience in project communications
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong strategic thinking and planning abilities, proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, expertise in change management methodologies, and proficiency in project management tools and communication platforms.
Language: Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential, as you will be responsible for generating messages in both official languages
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the media or broadcasting industry.
Familiarity with Finance or System Implementations is an asset
