Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following full-time position based in the Dallas, TX office (A hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with company policies.):

                                 Senior Specialist - IT Systems Engineering

We will count on you to:

Design, build, and optimize automation systems and manage the DevOps roadmap to help grow and maintain the rapidly evolving cloud infrastructure. Build and maintain IT systems to support new and existing services for customers. Analyze current technology stack, suggest and implement improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive DevOps initiatives. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Confluent Cloud Kafka using terraform. Maintain quality and velocity of application deployments. Support, maintain, and deploy builds for React, Node, and Ruby applications. Manage multiple AWS accounts and set up company-wide policies and access. Implement, maintain, and improve our monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. Identify and solve performance issues using DataDog. Implement security best practices by using sysdig, SonarQube and synk tools. Research and implement new technologies to increase productivity, reliability, and security of the IT environment. Increase knowledge sharing, participate in documentation, and mentor other engineers.

What you need to have: 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Ten (10) years of experience must include: Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure for digital applications using CI/CD platforms including GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jenkins; Creating custom GitHub Actions using YAML workflows and securely maintaining Secrets and Environment Variables without exposing them in the code; Managing and deploying various serverless, Database, compute, Networking components within the AWS ecosystem using CloudFormation templates or Terraform; Managing and automating pipeline triggers for onboarding applications and integrating security checks using scanning tools including Sysdig and SonarQube; Applying patches, updates, or configuration changes to remediate vulnerabilities in code; Architecting, Designing, Deploying and maintaining Confluent Kafka at an organizational level; Implementing and managing Kafka Connectors to integrate Kafka with external systems including relational databases, MongoDB, and components in using Amazon cloud; Developing interactive, user-friendly web portals to serve as entry point for various SaaS or PaaS systems, using modern JavaScript frameworks.
