Job Summary

The Senior Specialist Digital Business Integration (DBI) plays a key role within the Digital Business Integration team, working on and supporting enterprise Digital strategy with Business and D&T Leaders. This role supports driving DBI and D&T Strategy across business unit and functions.
This position will collaborate with the Business users and business SMEs to understand their requirements and supports the realization of the digital initiatives in collaboration with the D&T Team.
This role will support to achieve West's digital transformation strategic initiatives. This role collaborates closely with Business and Digital Transformation teams to realise the objectives of West's technology strategy, with focuses on enabling a secure and sustainable digital ecosystem.
This role will help and support to streamline processes and harmonize systems as well as ensuring harmonized data governance across multiple platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Business Integration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on and realise digital strategies and initiatives.
    Work and support global digital quality initiatives.


Digital Business Integration - Change Management & Execution
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business requirements into system requirements.
  • Co-lead implementation of business processes and master data across applications including SAP S/4HANA QM, West Digital Applications, and DMO.
  • Support execution of Pre-UAT and UAT testing during transformation programs.
  • Create training materials and lead user training sessions.


Digital Business Integration - Process & Data Governance
  • Govern business processes and master data across digital applications.
  • Help to achieve global harmonization of processes and master data designs.
  • Establish and maintain digital data structures enabling consistent enterprise reporting.
  • Work on harmonization and standardization of quality processes, tools, and system functionalities.


Digital Business Integration - Validation & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, regulations, and cGMP requirements.
  • Support validation deliverables following Enterprise Validation procedures.
  • Review and approve system changes and test evidence.
  • Approve validation documentation in alignment with change management procedures


Operational Excellence
  • Work on identifying continuous improvements leveraging digital technologies.
  • Act as SME and point of contact for site teams.


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of GMP requirements


Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience is required and
  • Medical Device or pharmaceuticals industry experience preferred
  • QM experience is preferred


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must have good interpersonal/leadership skills and be able to interface with all departments and team member levels.
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and be able to interface with employees in all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent computer skills required including SAP, all MS Office applications
