Senior Specialist, Digital Asset Operations

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our Digital Assets Operations team. This role supports institutional clients and plays a key part in the day-to-day processing and oversight of digital asset transactions. This role is in NYC, NY.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Working with digital assets such as bitcoin and overseeing client processing to ensure transactions for institutional clients are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Managing daily transactional workflows, including monitoring queues, resolving breaks, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Identifying operational inefficiencies, performing analysis, and contributing to process improvements and control enhancements.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders across operations, risk, technology, and client service teams.
  • Supporting coverage needs across the operating day. This role requires flexibility to support business needs, including coverage outside standard business hours and regular in-office presence. Schedules may include evenings and weekends on a rotational basis, based on business and client requirements.

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 5-7 years of total experience with 3 or more years of experience in operations, custody, settlements, reconciliations, risk and control, or digital assets. Experience with bitcoin or other digital assets is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, and exception management.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and evolving technology platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume, time sensitive environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly document issues and collaborate across teams.
  • Willingness to support flexible work schedules, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Senior Specialist level responsibilities and expectations:
  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Comfort acting as a subject matter resource for junior team members.
  • Ability to independently identify issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Experience contributing to audits, control testing, or regulatory inquiries is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes.
