Position Overview:Performs duties related to primary or specialty care physician recruitment and is responsible for representing Sutter Health and assigned medical group(s). Manages sourcing, vetting, and interviewing activities for their assigned specialties and geography. Oversees the entire recruitment cycle from start to finish. Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures and performs in accordance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements.

Job Description:
We're looking for a seasoned sourcing professional who understands that physician and APC recruiting is about much more than searching a database and sending messages. The right person knows how to build a thoughtful sourcing strategy, think creatively, understand competitive talent markets, and uncover exceptional clinicians in some of the most challenging and hard-to-fill specialties in healthcare.
We're seeking someone with
4-5+ years of physician and/or APC sourcing experience who genuinely enjoys the challenge of finding the "needle in the haystack." You'll know how to build pipelines from the ground up, identify passive talent, develop creative sourcing approaches, and engage physicians and advanced practice clinicians who may not even be considering a career move.
What You'll Bring- Proven experience sourcing physicians and/or advanced practice clinicians.
- A strong understanding of healthcare talent markets and competitive specialties.
- The ability to develop and execute creative, targeted sourcing strategies.
- Experience building talent pipelines from the ground up.
- Strong passive-candidate engagement and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team.
- A genuine interest in sharing ideas, testing new approaches, and continuously improving sourcing strategies and results.
There will also be opportunities to
represent Sutter Health at select conferences, professional events, and other talent-focused events throughout the year, helping build our brand and connect with clinicians across the healthcare landscape.
EDUCATION:Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Human Resources, Healthcare or other related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Basic knowledge of human resource principles, policies and procedures.
Computer and data management skills including Excel, Word, Power Point and advanced MS Outlook skills.
Must have interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and change priorities as appropriate.
Written and verbal communications and customer service skills with the ability to listen well.
Able to deal discreetly with confidential information, including physician salary ranges.
Must be self-starter who can independently manage own projects and time.

Pay Range is $97,032.00 to $145,558.40 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
