Description

The Senior Software Engineer will need a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing high-quality software. In this role you will be expected to work on a team to deliver, maintain and support software solutions that increase end user productivity as well as patient experience. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to provide guidance to junior team members and to assist with the design and implementation of solutions.

Requirements

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in related field (or 4 years' experience)
• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to listen to end user issues and translate it into useful software solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7 is a plus

Skills and Responsibilities:

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are required
• Preferred Language Experience (in order of importance):

o JavaScript (node.js, vue.js, nuxt.js)

o C#

o SQL (MSSQL, MYSQL, Oracle)

o PHP
• Experience with GIT and version control
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS
• Architect, Develop and Maintain applications
• Troubleshoot and debug new and existing applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful implementation of software
• Ensure software applications are secure and compliant with industry standards
• Monitor and optimize software performance
• Off-hours availability for critical issues
