About the team:The Backbone Engineering team combines engineering, UX, and product management to rapidly develop new products and site features using open-source technologies such as Java, React, NextJS, Fastify, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and TypeScript. The team delivers high-performing solutions on a modern platform, emphasizing continuous innovation and iterative development. Immediate feedback from business customers drives ongoing improvements, fostering a dynamic environment focused on scalable, reliable software delivery. Collaboration and technical excellence are central, enabling the team to meet evolving business needs with efficient, well-designed solutions.
What you'll do: - Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code using multiple programming languages and drive full software development lifecycle including CI/CD deployments.
- Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
- Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and define success metrics.
- Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Promote engineering excellence through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
