A day in the life:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to create, sustain and troubleshoot complex operational data flows including data storage, data transport, data management, data security, data compliance, and knowledge store management. In this role you will work with the mission customer to perform exploratory data analysis on raw data to clean, enrich, transform and convert the raw data into the required formats. The purpose of this role will be to devise methods to improve existing operational data flow processing, distribution, and reliability.
What you bring to the table:
  • 12+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
  • Experience writing scripts using Bash/Python
  • Experience designing and implementing Java solutions
  • Experience with Apache NiFi system administration
  • Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data
  • Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Must possess an active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph

Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Corporate data flow processes and tools
  • Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain Perl scripts and applications

Salary Range:

  • Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
  • Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $190,000 - $220,000.
