About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (ServiceNow) in Technology as part of Enterprise Services Technology within Cybersecurity.
We're hiring a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to take ownership of development across a highly complex, enterprise-level platform. If you're a hands-on builder and technical leader who wants to design, code, and drive enterprise-scale solutions-this role is built for you. This is not a ServiceNow Administrator role-this is a true engineering position focused on building, coding, and delivering scalable solutions from the ground up.
In this role, you will:- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- ServiceNow certification: (CSA) Certified Systems Administrator
Desired Qualifications:- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in any discipline
- Experience with AI development tools: both Service-Now specific (Build Agent and/or NOW Assist) and platform-agnostic (Devin, Claude etc.)
- Advanced experience creating and maintaining ServiceNow Catalog Items
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 1+ years of Jira experience
- 1+ years of Agile experience

- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- Ability to work occasional non-standard hours to support system deployments, upgrades, and critical business initiatives.
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
