Full Job Description
The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco:

You will be building Moloco's mobile Ads SDK that enables publishers (app developers) to monetize their mobile applications. Your work will make a direct impact on Moloco's revenue. This role is highly cross-functional, spanning client SDK, backend integrations, and cross-platform tooling. You may work directly with external customers and collaborate closely with our engineering teams.

The Opportunity:
  • Design, architect, and build a state-of-the-art Ads SDK for Moloco's supported platforms.
  • Keep up to date with the latest iOS updates, and maintain the SDK.
  • Follow and lead technology evolution and requirements across prominent app platforms, contributing to shared logic and architecture decisions that span iOS and Android.
  • Partner with backend and infrastructure teams on the APIs, telemetry, and services that power the SDK end-to-end.
  • Help customers with SDK integrations in various ways, including maintaining customer-facing SDK documentation.
  • Help grow our team by providing valuable feedback and by mentoring junior engineers.
  • Work with cross-platform teams located across our global offices including Seattle, Seoul, London, Beijing, and San Francisco to come up with new features and functionality for our customers.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree

  • Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective oriented programming
  • Expert-level understanding of multithreading and networking
  • Understanding of the internals of iOS, compilers, and optimization for lower-power devices
  • Full-stack curiosity - comfortable working across client, server, and tooling layers, not just native UI code
  • Experience with agile methodologies and high-level design principles
  • A passion for mobile platforms, and staying up-to-date with the latest platform developments
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Android development (Kotlin/Java) or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform) - dual iOS/Android fluency is a strong plus
  • Experience building and distributing Cocoapods, Carthage, and/or Swift Package Manager libraries
  • Experience publishing apps to the App Store and/or Google Play
  • Experience with MRAID and/or VAST
  • Experience building and distributing React Native and/or Unity plugins
  • Backend or full-stack experience is a plus
