As a Senior Software Engineer on the Creator Business team, you will help drive a healthy and ever-growing creator economy at Roblox. Our mission is to help Creators efficiently operationalize their revenue so they can invest in and grow their business. The team works on complex areas such as monetization analytics, revenue reporting, payouts, and taxes, requiring penny-perfect accuracy and zero defects.
We are looking for someone who can work with product managers and data science on end-to-end requirements to develop and maintain a scalable, secure, and reliable platform for our creators to thrive. As we are responsible for a large portion of the company's revenue, you will drive projects with high impact and visibility.
You will:- Develop remarkable products and systems that will delight our users
- Work with the product, data science, and design to help refine requirements
- Contribute to or drive the overall end to end system design
- Have the opportunity to push the boundaries of what's next for the company
- Help recruit future talent for the team
You Have: - 5+ years of experience developing consumer-facing products
- Proficiency in building and scaling data pipelines
- Experience with distributed systems, API design, and microservices architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. $243,290-$295,250 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
