Overview

Responsibilities

Deliver creative improvements for our Engineering teams. Utilize knowledge of computer science principles and engineering to build REST APIs that power core customer experieces. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of desigs. Configure monitoring for backend services and build CICD pipelines utilizing prominent laguages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go or Scala. Develop integrations with our content management system. Build features and services with reliability in mind. Perform platform integrations using REST. Work with GIT and server technologies to design and develop applications that support Atlassian's software products and platforms.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Pay Ranges

In The United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $180,000 - $235,000

Zone B: $162,000 - $211,500

Zone C: $149,400 - $195,050

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field and five (5) years of post bachelors, progressive related work experience.

Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:

• Software systems and infrastructure
• DB design and performance tuning for large scale database systems
• Building and operating large scale cloud infrastructures
• Performing platform integrations using REST
• Utilizing GIT and server technologies including NPM, Docker, NGINX, and Express/Node
• Utilizing SQL databases for customer service; and
• Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go and Scala.
