Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support BaaS partner onboarding and platform enhancement initiatives. The role will focus on building and supporting scalable, secure, high-performance systems that enable embedded financial services across partner ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software engineering, API and microservices development, Azure cloud services, observability, security, and Agile delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop APIs and microservices supporting BaaS onboarding and partner integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, CI/CD, testing, and observability best practices.
• Ensure compliance with SLA standards and contribute to monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
• Create architectural and technical design documentation to support solution evaluation and decision-making.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for applicability, feasibility, and adoption.
• Refactor and extend existing codebases to resolve defects and implement new features and functionality.
• Develop durable and flexible systems by favoring configurability over customization.

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.
• Strong experience developing secure and standards-compliant software across multiple platforms.
• Strong proficiency in one or more of C#, .NET, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault.
• Experience with container technologies and caching frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures, including technologies such as Service Bus and Event Hubs.
• Hands-on experience implementing and using observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog or Grafana.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments supporting iterative delivery of customer-facing applications.
• Strong knowledge of Git, DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of financial services security and compliance standards, including PCI DSS and SOC 2.
• Ability to meet the applicable location requirements for the position.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in fintech or embedded finance platforms.
• Familiarity with partner onboarding workflows and SLA management.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications.
