Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience building large-scale, high-availability systems using Java, Spring, and Web Services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GenAI coding assistants, AI-assisted development workflows, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and production AI/ML solutions. This role will contribute to AI-driven modernization initiatives across the software development lifecycle, combining strong engineering judgment with emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain large-scale, high-availability applications using Java, Spring, Web Services, and modern software engineering practices.
• Leverage GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code across implementation, refactoring, testing, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Apply AI-assisted development workflows, including prompt engineering, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and agentic workflows.
• Translate low-level design artifacts, including class structures, API contracts, and data models, into structured specifications that guide AI-assisted implementation.
• Develop, test, deploy, and support AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Design and maintain containerized, microservices-based, and cloud-native applications.
• Apply engineering judgment and validation to ensure the correctness, security, reliability, and quality of AI-assisted development outputs.
• Use AI assistance for code generation, test generation, code review support, automation scripts, troubleshooting, and other software development activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish effective team-level practices for AI-assisted development.
• Participate across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives by applying GenAI and cloud-native technologies to enterprise software systems.
• Take ownership of code quality, testing, validation, and overall engineering outcomes.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building large-scale software systems using Java, Spring, and Web Services.
• 7+ years of experience developing large-scale, high-availability systems.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code across day-to-day software development workflows.
• Strong understanding of AI-assisted development workflows, spec-driven development, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• 2+ years of experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production.
• 6+ years of experience with containers, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience applying GenAI tools across implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of custom instructions and prompt engineering for AI-assisted software development.
• Strong engineering judgment with ownership of code quality, testing, validation, and production readiness.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience establishing team-level practices for effective AI-assisted development.
• Experience with agentic workflows and spec-driven development methodologies.
• Experience working in financial services or other large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience modernizing enterprise applications using GenAI, cloud-native technologies, and modern software development practices.
