Position Summary:As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging. The Senior Software Development Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects. In this role the Senior Software Development Engineer will be tasked with analyzing and assisting with the design, development and support of Third Party Financial Applications and platforms.
Duties include:- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, components, and frameworks to meet business requirements
- Requirements analysis to determine feasibility of design and plan the technical aspects of implementation
- Configure and test software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write, debug, and review high quality code, and track and resolve production issues
- Design and develop applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies: Mainframe Technology - CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, HP-JCL, VSAM, HP-COBOL, Unix.
- 2+ years of experience in developing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)and, GitHub EMU, CICD Tools and ControlM Scheduling, PL SQL, Unix scripting and Informatica
- Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Azure and GCP and Pharmacy Accounts receivable business experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Third Party Accounts Receivable application business knowledge preferred
- Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles. Health care industry knowledge and background preferred
Education:- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
