The Adobe Stock organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve our Web Platform (stock.adobe.com). What is Needed to Succeed!- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering scalable, production-grade systems.
- Strong command of software design patterns and enterprise-grade system design, including experience architecting microservices and designing and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Experience designing, tuning, and scaling data-intensive applications across relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Proficiency in modern server-side web technologies, including PHP, Node.js/TypeScript, and Java.
- Hands-on experience with AWS managed services, including RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, and container orchestration technologies.
- Ability to lead technical direction on complex projects, including defining architecture, reviewing code, and driving engineering decisions across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior and mid-level engineers, offer helpful mentorship, and elevate team-wide engineering quality.
- Strong multi-functional collaboration skills, able to partner with product, design, and other engineering teams to drive clarity, alignment, and delivery.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 - $301,600In Washington, the pay range for this position is $190,200 - $275,400
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
