How You Will Make an Impact

Frida is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to join our marketing team based in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Senior Director of Social and Content, the selected candidate will take ownership of executing and evolving our overall brand social strategy for the Baby, Mom, and Fertility brands across existing and emerging platforms. Working closely with internal and agency partners, the Social Media Manager will focus on building a community of passionate brand advocates through innovative, engaging content and a best-in-class social presence.

The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in social media trends, cultural shifts, and platform developments. They will drive forward the brand's voice and social media growth, identifying opportunities to elevate the brand's digital presence.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Be a face of the brand on camera. Host, demo, and talk to camera as a recurring on-screen presence across TikTok and Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • Lead and manage always-on content calendars for each brand and platform (primarily TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn), ensuring consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of social briefs in partnership with the Senior Director of Social Media and Content, facilitating stakeholder feedback, and ensuring timely execution of assets and captions to meet campaign goals.
  • Plan and optimize in-house content production, particularly for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Shoot, edit, and publish the same day. Film in-office, cut it yourself, and get it live while the moment is still relevant.
  • Write briefs and build storyboards for video, and write clear briefs for designers so assets come back right the first time.
  • Partner with video editors on larger productions, giving direction and feedback that gets the cut where it needs to be.
  • Pitch and produce social content, including Reels/TikTok/YouTube videos and designed assets in collaboration with our designers.
  • Generate ideas constantly. Bring a steady flow of concepts, formats, and hooks to the table and know which ones are worth making.
  • Move fast when a trend hits. Know when to shift the calendar and get something out the same day.
  • Social-first lens always with strong hook development. Strong understanding of video performance and creation for Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Create strong hooks and experience briefing in designed carousel concepts.
  • Coordinate and manage shoots, including sourcing samples, props, and collaborating with talent or influencers to deliver engaging social content.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal brand and marketing teams to input requests and priorities inclusive of NPD launches and then share out plans from the social team back to XF teams.`
  • Map out and Prioritize content priorities: from XF intake requests, leadership requests and business priorities, manage and tweak calendar and priorities within social team giving visibility cross functionally.
  • Manage and develop team members, including direct reports and contractors.
  • Analyze and report on monthly and campaign performance, using insights to inform future strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Track competitors and the broader category. Know what other brands are doing and bring back what's worth trying.
  • Use social listening to read sentiment. Catch issues early and surface what the community is asking for.
  • Own and strategize the brand's culture calendar, proactively identifying key cultural moments and trends to drive relevance and engagement across platforms.
  • Act as a key brand ambassador, ensuring that all social communications are on-brand, in line with brand standards, and fostering a positive community experience.


What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
  • 4-5+ years of social media management experience with a proven track record of growing and engaging communities and end-to-end video ownership on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms.
  • Comfortable and confident on camera. A reel or portfolio of on-camera work is required.
  • Hands-on video editing skills in CapCut, Premiere, or similar, plus native in-app editing tools.
  • Examples of short-form video you personally shot, edited, and published.
  • Experience writing briefs and building storyboards for video and design.
  • Experience managing at least one direct report or contractor.
  • A strategic mindset with a strong understanding of social media's role in broader marketing efforts, brand building, and community engagement.
  • An eye for identifying and leveraging emerging platform trends and broader cultural movements, with a deep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z and millennial audiences.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent writing, verbal communication, and content creation skills.
  • A high level of creativity combined with an analytical mindset to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Dash Social, Sprout, Hootsuite) and social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willing to check channels outside normal hours when something is live or breaking - evenings, weekends, and key launch moments.
