The opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated, data-driven marketing professional to join EY Canada's Social Media team. The role plays a critical part in shaping and executing our firm's social media presence with accountability across both organic and paid channels. Reporting to and working alongside our Assistant Director, Social Media, and cross-functional stakeholders across Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC), the candidate will lead the end-to-end execution of integrated campaigns, ensuring content and channel strategies align with business objectives. The candidate will assist in representing the voice of our firm on social media, monitoring conversations, creating and posting content, and managing the daily operations of various social platforms. The role is focused on engaging, building and proactively managing authentic conversation through organic and paid media to achieve our KPIs.

Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end execution of social media campaigns across organic and paid channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs
  • Lead development and management of editorial calendars, ensuring content consistency, quality and alignment across platforms
  • Create and oversee high-quality content, including copy, visuals and campaign assets, maintaining EY brand standards and voice
  • Manage campaign performance, including tracking, reporting and optimization, and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights
  • Manage the workflow and publishing of social content to the platform - planning and maintaining an editorial calendar, and aligning cross-functionally across the EY ecosystem
  • Engage in baseline community management, such as daily social communication, social listening, and monitoring
  • Enhance and grow our employee advocacy social strategy and tool use
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and working collaboratively with team members on competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, bridging between sales and marketing to embolden our combined efforts
  • Learn social media reporting best practices: testing, analyzing, and making strategic recommendations based on community, brand, and lead generation KPIs vs. vanity metrics

  • Strong strategic and growth mindset focused on initiating new social ideas to elevate the EY brand
  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and platforms
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, including experience interpreting KPIs and translating insights into actionable improvements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience with social media A/B testing and analytics
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt AI where appropriate to enhance social function both with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensuring high-quality social voice for all EY content, including adhering to style guidelines, and enabling a consistent brand voice

  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of social KPIs, measurement and attribution models for social
  • An understanding of how social media fits into the larger marketing and firm ecosystem
  • Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail and a hunger to contribute

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
  • Toronto: $65,600 - $98,400
  • Vancouver: $65,600 - $98,400
