Leidos is on the hunt for a driven Senior Sensor-to-Shooter (StS) Program SME to support the ACC A22 Tradecraft Division at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to help the Air Combat Command Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Staff. The incumbent will provide analytic, operational, technical, and planning support to ACC and subordinate units to modernize the ISR Enterprise for which ACC has responsibility including capability-based planning processes with documentation of needs/gaps, and recommended solutions. The incumbent will support various management and administrative roles to ensure efficient and effective operations of organizational activities and integrate across branches, divisions, directorates, ISR Wings, and with C3BM to achieve results. Candidates must currently posses an active TS/SCI clearance.
Note: Funding for the opportunity is expected July 15th.
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure timely completion of taskers, responses to information requests, data call generation, document reviews, and acquisition reporting.
- Oversee and review tasker responses to verify programmatic and technical accuracy.
- Provide continuity, streamline activities, foster collaboration across teams, and maintain consistent communication with leadership and supporting SPOs.
- Assist with the management of developing and sustaining tools (i.e. WATCHBOX, CHATSURFER, SNAPGLASS, TURBO, KATANA, INTELBOOK, COGNOS) for sensor to shooter and dynamic targeting of mobile targets at speed and scale.
- Articulate measurable metrics focusing on investment impacts, progress against schedule, and how efforts contribute to improvements in the kill chain; and set up straightforward reporting methods that communicate these metrics to key stakeholders.
- Incorporate feedback mechanisms within the architecture, so engineers and stakeholders can see the broader system of systems, enabling more informed decision-making about interoperability and integration.
- Serves as the connective tissue between subject matter experts, engineering teams, supporting SPOs, users, and senior leadership, creating a single point of accountability for requirements, schedule, and progress metrics.
- Perform executive-level analysis and assessments in applying advanced principles, theories, and concepts to a wide range of work in the areas of planning, deployment, operation, and enhancement of advanced technology for the ACC ISR Enterprise.
- Support complex problems and provide solutions that are innovative to establish new theories and practices, leading to new and creative technical solutions to problems.
- Review and analyze the organizational structure, relations, systems, and processes across the enterprise to improve ISR capabilities through technology, TTP development/modifications, and investments.
- Assist the Government with drafting supporting documents for the development, Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) to support the advocacy of the identified materiel and non-materiel solutions.
- Assist with the Air Force budget process to include POM (involving manpower, resources, and dollars).
- Coordinate and ensure execution of senior staff visits in accordance with established workflows, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on-time.
- Participate in, and support, as required, sensor-to-shooter tradecraft meetings and conferences.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 15 years or Master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Must possess a current DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance single-scope background investigation. TS with SCI eligibility accepted.
- Previous Air Force ISR experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytic skills, and problem solving ability.
- Familiarity with Air Force Sensor-to-Shooter, Dynamic Targeting, and Kill-Chain processes, tools, and tradecraft
- Should have experience in requirements management and implementation as well as metrics development, tracking and delivering outcomes.
- Ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
- Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners
- May require 10% travel

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
