Leidos is seeking an adaptable and highly organized
Associate Project Manager to support multi-agency customers in a dynamic, mission-focused environment. This role requires an individual who takes initiative, collaborates effectively across technical and functional teams, and engages directly with a diverse range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, exceptional professionalism, and strong organizational skills while supporting complex program activities involving government, military, and international partners. This position requires the ability to manage competing priorities and ensure activities are executed within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Administration & Security Operations- Provide financial, administrative, and operational support for research and development (R&D) program activities, serving as a primary liaison for internal and external communications.
- Administer contract security activities, including personnel processing, visit control requests, and badge issuance for contractor personnel.
- Track mandatory training requirements and maintain databases supporting clearance status and training compliance reporting.
- Disseminate policies, procedures, and guidance to contractor personnel and government customers.
- Serve as a point of contact for administrative and security-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Event Management & Logistics- Plan, coordinate, and manage resources for program meetings, workshops, exercises, and special engagements.
- Coordinate event logistics, including facility scheduling, travel arrangements, transportation, security requirements, and lodging accommodations.
- Develop agendas, prepare briefing materials, conduct pre-event planning activities, and provide on-site event support.
- Execute post-event closeout activities, including hot washes, executive summaries, lessons learned, and after-action reports.
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) supporting event execution and stakeholder requirements.
Foreign Partner & Multi-Agency Coordination- Support foreign partner engagements through execution of partner agreements and coordination of multinational and multi-agency exercises.
- Analyze exercise outcomes and support post-event assessments and executive-level reviews.
- Maintain a working knowledge of export control regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements to support program compliance.
- Exercise discretion and professionalism when interacting with foreign partners, military representatives, and senior government officials.
Required Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active TS/SCI clearance, or Top Secret clearance with a current SSBI and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) and/or Department of Defense (DoD), or a Master's degree and 2+ years of related experience.
- Familiarity with personnel security and/or contract security processes.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing events, meetings, workshops, or exercises.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and customer engagement.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and team coordination capabilities.
- Proven ability to resolve complex and ambiguous challenges with minimal supervision.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions.
Preferred Qualifications- Working knowledge of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
- Familiarity with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).
- Experience working with organizations such as the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Combatant Commands, U.S. Embassies, Department of State, and/or Defense Attaché Offices.
- Experience supporting multinational engagements, exercises, or international partner programs.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, Jira, and other collaboration/project management tools.

Pay Range:Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
