Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Security Specialist to join our team! In this role you will In this role, you will support the administration of SCI security programs, personnel security processes, and daily SCIF operations while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, ICDs, and company policies.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist in the day to day administration of SCI security programs supporting government and contractor personnel.
  • Process personnel security actions including visit requests, access requests, indoctrinations, debriefings, and clearance verification activities.
  • Maintain security records and databases to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements.
  • Support access control operations, visitor management, and SCIF administrative functions.
  • Conduct security briefings and provide guidance to employees regarding security policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with self-inspections, security audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action tracking.
  • Coordinate with government customers, program personnel, and security stakeholders on security-related matters.
  • Support document accountability and the proper safeguarding, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified material.
  • Assist with incident reporting, inquiries, and investigations involving security concerns or potential violations.
  • Participate in security education, awareness, and training initiatives to promote a strong security culture.
  • Support special projects and other security duties as assigned.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to maintain access.
  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community security requirements and procedures.
  • Familiarity with personnel security, visitor control, access management, and classified material handling.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Experience supporting SCI programs within a government contractor or Intelligence Community environment. Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, or other government security systems.
  • Experience working within an ICD 705 accredited SCIF/SAPF.
  • Knowledge of ICD 704, ICD 705, SEADs, and other Intelligence Community security directives.
  • Experience conducting security briefings, self-inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Corporate team.

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
