Full Job Description
STV is currently seeking a Senior Security Development Manager to provide technical expertise to our security consulting organization. Specific areas of expertise include critical infrastructure protection and security planning, coordination, and operations for large special events. Additional support may include support of electronic and physical security design services for various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, plan, and implement security operations for large special events.
  • Provide technical support for security performance, qualifications, and programs on a project level.
  • Conduct threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments
  • Assess client security plans, policies, procedures, and programs to support the implementation of holistic security programs and implementations.
  • Develop and advise clients on security controls and mitigation strategies for identified risks and/or program gaps.
  • Understand and apply Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) best practices to site designs.
  • Support engineering personnel in the thoughtful application of security measures grounding designs in a risk-based approach to security.
  • Review design drawings for security compliance.
  • Ability to conduct audits related to design, construction or condition assessments based upon established standards and or National/Local code.
  • Interact as a member of a cohesive team
  • Coordinate and interact on an as needed basis with clients and other company divisions or units.


Qualifications:
  • Thorough knowledge of the practices, and procedures of security programs
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of law enforcement and security programs, applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing policies, security, and emergency management
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) required
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate or agency security program support or management, law enforcement, or military experience and or a bachelor's degree - Security, Engineering, Business, or another related field; and
  • Department of Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, or applicable Military Training courses desirable.


Compensation Range:
$113,982.00 - $129,525.00
