Sr Search Strategist (SEO Focus)
As Senior Search Strategist, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing exceptional site experiences, driving results, and crafting effective content strategies. Your passion for SEO and data driven insights will enable you to elevate marketing campaigns and enhance user experiences for worldclass brands we work with. You understand that today's user experience starts at the search results, and you have a knack for ensuring that the right content is discoverable to the right people, at the right time. With your analytical skills and attention to detail, you excel at analyzing data and providing actionable recommendations to improve digital visibility. Collaboration is second nature to you, as you work seamlessly across disciplines and agency partners to implement SEO best practices, drive search initiatives, and meet customers wherever they're searching.
You will:
Develop, execute, and optimize holistic SEO strategies for global brands, driving measurable improvements in search performance and organic traffic
Harness search data and user intent signals to inform targeted content strategies, keyword research, and identify exciting business opportunities
Expand your leadership skills as you mentor, train, and oversee a team of talented SEO specialists
Deliver actionable insights to clients through visually compelling reports, strategic recommendations, and competitive analyses
Define success metrics and translate SEO results into clear business objectives and revenue impact
Identify and implement technical optimizations related to crawlability, indexability, site architecture, page speed, and structured markup
Align paid and organic search strategies, collaborating with paid search and marketing teams to ensure integrated approaches and cost efficiency
Conduct regular SEO audits and competitive analyses, identifying underperforming areas and developing improvement strategies
Communicate SEO concepts and performance updates to clients and stakeholders, presenting recommendations with conviction
Stay current on search algorithm changes, emerging search technologies (AI search, voice search, visual search), and identify new opportunities for brands
You have:
5+ years of SEO experience with demonstrated achievements in systematically improving search performance and driving traffic and conversion growth
Strong data analytics skills and proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, and similar tools
Expert level understanding of technical SEO, content strategy development, and search best practices
Strong presentation and data storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and leverage data visualization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead client calls and present strategic recommendations
Experience defining, documenting, and implementing standardized SEO processes and cross disciplinary guidelines
Strong Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, and comfort working with large datasets
Track record of identifying insights, making data driven recommendations, and developing successful improvement strategies with measurable results
Passion for staying current in a rapidly evolving digital environment and leveraging new tools to gain competitive advantage
Experience managing and training junior SEO specialists, or familiarity with paid search and SEM campaigns (ideal, but not required)
Experience with marketing automation, CRM integration, or conversion tracking implementation (ideal, but not required)
Familiarity with AI powered bidding strategies and automation tools (ideal, but not required)

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
