Vista Innovative Solutions (VIS) is seeking a Senior Scientist in San Antonio, TX to support clinical, epidemiologic, outcomes, and health research activities. This is a full-time, hybrid position supporting the JTS Enterprise Support contract.
What You'll Do:- Lead multidisciplinary research activities.
- Develop research methodologies.
- Support advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
- Develop scientific publications.
- Translate research findings into clinical or operational recommendations.
What You Bring:Required:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD, MD/DO, or equivalent) in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, clinical science, health services research, data science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible clinical, epidemiologic, outcomes, or health research experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary research, developing research methodologies, advanced analytics or predictive modeling, scientific publications, and translating findings into clinical or operational recommendations.
- CAC eligibility required.
- T1 investigation requirement.
Preferred:
- Military trauma or combat casualty care research experience.
