We're Hiring: Senior SAP Functional Lead - FI/CO
Location: Torrance, CA

What You'll Do:

Pelican is seeking an experienced SAP Finance & Costing Lead to drive the strategy, support, and continuous improvement of global financial processes. In this high-impact role, you'll partner closely with Finance and Accounting leaders to enhance visibility, strengthen controls, and standardize scalable solutions across the enterprise.   • Lead global SAP rollouts and enhancements, including design, testing, data conversion, training, and post-go-live support
  • Own and drive FI/CO strategy, configuration, support, anddelivery across the organization
  • Standardize financial processes and promote consistency across global business units
  • Provide hands-on SAP production support and coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and SAP OSS
  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions aligned with business goals and best practices
  • Develop functional specifications, process documentation, controls, and user training materials
  • Lead testing efforts including unit, regression, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across SAP Finance and Costing capabilities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience implementing and supporting SAP FI/CO with strong business knowledge of integration points between SD, MM, and PP within a Manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ full life-cycle implementations working on all facets from system design to post go live support preferred.
  • Extensive experience with New GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, CO, CCA, Internal Orders, and Product Costing (including product cost estimates, product cost updates, and product cost variance analysis)
  • Experience with additional Controlling functions including Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Allocations, Activity Pricing, and intercompany transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, and various levels of management. This includes communicating system issues and business solutions in a clear and concise manner, along with ability to recognize your audience and tailor communications accordingly.

Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
