Role Overview:This role is for a Senior SAP BASIS Lead with extensive hands-on experience in S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in system upgrades, migrations, and managing cloud environments (Azure/AWS). This position requires lead-level experience in team management, driving end-to-end SAP landscape architecture, and handling RISE/S/4 transformations within enterprise settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage teams and drive end-to-end SAP landscape architecture.
- Handle RISE/S/4 transformations in enterprise environments.
- Perform technical planning, installations, and configurations for SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, and SAP Router.
- Execute system upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform.
- Configure SSO and install SSL certificates.
- Apply Support Packages, Kernel patch upgrades, and manage TMS configuration and Transport administration.
- Maintain operation modes, profile parameters, and background job management.
- Perform SAP Backup and Recovery operations.
- Manage SAP system migration using the DMO tool.
- Integrate SAP HANA into different remote systems and manage remote access options.
- Elaborate SAP release plans.
- Execute system refresh tasks, including local client copy, client export, and client import.
- Perform performance optimization and tuning using SQL traces for Impact Analysis.
- Configure and analyze Early Watch reports.
- Automate SAP basis tasks through scripting.
- Manage incidents, troubleshoot OS-level issues, monitor work processes, check logs, and provide Root Cause Analysis.
- Write operational procedures and create Adobe standard documentation.
- Provide on-call support during weekdays and weekends as per schedule.
Required Skills:- Deep knowledge of SAP Basis tasks, including technical planning, installations, configurations (SAP S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, SAP Router), upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and Unicode conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform.
- Hands-on experience with implementation and conversion for S/4HANA solutions.
- Familiarity with BRTOOLS for Space management.
- Mastery of HANA knowledge, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery.
- Strong SQL scripting knowledge, including creating Stored Procedures and troubleshooting performance issues.
- Expertise with SLT.
- Expertise with SAP Data Services.
- Experience in SAP Sizing using the SAP Quick sizer.
- Experience in SAP data Archiving.
- Deep knowledge of SAP HANA In-Memory Platform core technology, architecture, landscape design, installation, upgrade, performance tuning, and system integration.
- Proficiency with hardware, operating systems (LINUX), and networking connectivity for SAP environments.
- Experience with Transport Management.
Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience as an SAP Basis HANA Administrator, specifically administering SAP HANA and S/4 HANA landscapes.
Preferred Skills:- Certification in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Certification in OS/DB Migration.
