Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

Scope of Position
  • Manages all aspects of SAP integration, systems development, process improvements, and process development to support business requirements, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Minimum Requirements
  • Knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Inventory Management and Warehouse Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Quality Management and Sales and Distribution
  • Knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling and Asset Accounting
  • Knowledge of SAP Basis and EDI
  • Knowledge of SAP P2P and B2B and workflow
  • Knowledge of SAP reporting capabilities and background data tables. Experience with Business Warehouse.
  • Associates Degree preferred
Job Specific Responsibilities
  • Take the lead for ERP on delivering the material control project.
  • Utilize SAP RF functionality and deliver material requirements to the assembly point of need.
  • Work with project team to ensure that SAP has been updated with all data required and that new processes are documented and trained to SAP users
  • Manage integrated project management systems interfaces with SAP
  • Work with the CAPP (Computer Aided Planning Process) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) project leads, manage the linkages required with SAP
  • Take the lead for ERP on delivering inbound and outbound transportation strategy
  • SAP tracking of internal deliveries from vendors and outbound shipments to customers. Work with project team and ERP Center of Competence, ensure SAP has been updated with all data required and that new processes are documented and trained to SAP users.
  • Act as MRP Controller Super User
  • Provide SAP and process training to end users.
  • Ensure all relevant updates are passed to the MRPC community
  • Provide cross functional SAP reporting capabilities.
  • Utilizing existing Business Warehouse reporting tools and acting as the power user, create reports, provide the business with the method of understanding its current position and monitoring ERP compliance.
  • Lead SAP transfer request among SAP Landscapes
  • Coordinate EDI mapping with Magna B2B Team
  • Vendor Master data creation and maintenance
  • Responsible for Employee creation as vendor
  • Coordinate creation and change of BOM, Rate Routing, activity price, production version, and cost collector
  • Coordinate and support quality inspection plan creation and dynamic modification rule
  • Support materials and production team on HUs and Serial numbers
  • Maintain SAP users according to Magna IT policies
  • Support shipping team with sales and EDI requirements
  • Responsible to post Scrap in SAP
  • Support purchase team on purchase requisitions, purchase orders and schedule agreements
  • Coordinate Annual physical inventory in SAP
  • Support Finance on costing analyses, accounting analyses and standard price
  • Support Accounts payable and receivable
