Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for their next Senior Sales Manager superstar to join the team. The property sits on 24-acres of beachfront, 360 guest rooms, 62,450 sf of event space and 17 meeting rooms. If you have a passion in providing safety and memorable experiences for guest, this is the position for you!

The ideal candidate will actively solicit new business, cultivate strong client relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless and successful event execution. After 90 days of employment, 1 day work from home possibility based on performance.

After 6 months of employment, 2 day work from home possibility based on performance.

Key Qualifications:
1-2 years senior hotel sales background.
Hotel size of 300+ guest room familiarity.
Large group selling background
Ability to take initiative and build new business and strengthen existing partnerships.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage shifting deadlines.
Must be highly organized, team-oriented, and able to work seamlessly with senior leadership.

Sales Incentive

Hilton offers the best in-market SIP (Short-Term Incentive Plan) to our Sales, Catering & Events teams to reward our employees for their contributions to our company's financial success. The Plan includes a quarterly component worth 20% of bonus eligible earnings. The quarterly incentive may have multiple individually weighted objectives, meaning multiple opportunities to earn a payout.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
  • Represent the hotel to prospective clients: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking group rooms, meeting space, and food and beverage services
  • Drive new business opportunities: Respond to inquiries, initiate outreach, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients through proactive sales efforts
  • Manage the full sales cycle: Conduct site visits, entertain clients, prepare proposals, determine rates, negotiate contracts, and service accounts through fulfillment
  • Develop strategic sales plans: Create and execute strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and room night goals, adjusting based on performance and market conditions
  • Analyze sales performance: Evaluate lost business reports and identify opportunities to strengthen conversion and competitiveness
  • Support exceptional service delivery: Collaborate across departments to coordinate the fulfillment of contracted services and uphold the highest standards of client satisfaction
  • Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
