About the Role Tabs is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer based in New York to play an integral role in our pre-sales process helping craft solutions and be a thought partner to both our Go-to-Market organization and our clients. What You'll Do- Partner closely with finance and accounting leaders to demonstrate the capabilities of the Tabs platform, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows
- Manage pre-sales projects, ensuring the feasibility of proposed solutions and conducting proof-of-concept development in close collaboration with the Implementation team at Tabs to ensure tight alignment with product capabilities
- Support the Go-to-Market team by offering a consultative and solutions-oriented approach in meetings with prospects, and translating those solutions into workflow maps, implementation proposals and other materials and assets
- Provide guidance on integrating Tabs into clients' broader tech stack, which often involves navigating complex systems like ERP, CRM, and BI tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring a consultative approach to technical and business problem-solving

Experience- 4 - 7 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Pre-Sales at a B2B SaaS or fintech company
- Track record of owning the technical side of complex, multi-stakeholder deals from discovery through close
- Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, or billing platform integrations in a pre-sales context
- Strong demo and presentation skills across both technical and executive audiences
- Familiarity with finance or accounting workflows is a plus, not a requirement, but you should be able to get up to speed fast and earn credibility with Controllers and CFOs
- Experience at an early-stage company or in a role where you were building process alongside executing is a strong plus
