The Opportunity

Global Payments Solutions (GPS) is one of HSBC's global product lines generating over 10% of Group revenues supporting Corporate and Institutional Banking across almost 10,000 colleagues in more than 55 countries. This role supports Sales Managers, Relationship Managers and Service and Account Managers to maintain and grow revenue across an existing portfolio while developing new opportunities. You'll help shape and pitch Payments and Cash Management solutions that help corporate clients make and receive payments and manage liquidity across borders, regulations and currencies. The role brings together client planning, proposal preparation, benchmarking, pricing analysis and research alongside cost and risk reduction activity where required. You'll partner closely with teams across Product, Implementation, Integration, Business Management, Risk and Digital both domestically and globally. Success means a healthier pipeline in CRM, stronger client relationships, well-executed sales plans and consistent outcomes delivered within HSBC's control and compliance standards.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage a client portfolio to maintain existing income and generate new revenue
  • Identify, shape and pitch innovative Payments and Cash Management solutions for corporate clients
  • Partner with Sales Managers on sector and portfolio planning, client monitoring and effective coverage activity
  • Prepare proposals and client plans including benchmarking, research and pricing analysis
  • Review and negotiate cash management services in line with product policy, process and suitability expectations
  • Maintain an accurate GPS pipeline and keep CRM records up to date for performance tracking and future opportunities
  • Coordinate with Product, Implementation, Integration, Business Management, Risk and Digital teams to deliver a positive client experience
  • Complete sales activity documentation and respond within agreed timelines to audit and regulatory queries
