Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer with strong expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation, and IAM operations. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, upgrading, and supporting SailPoint IIQ solutions while driving identity lifecycle management, access governance, provisioning, compliance reporting, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of SailPoint IIQ, strong Java development skills, and experience leading IAM initiatives in complex enterprise environments.

In this role, you will:
• Design, develop, configure, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions including provisioning workflows, lifecycle management events, access governance processes, and compliance controls.
• Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into SailPoint build maps, workflows, rules, certifications, and lifecycle event configurations.
• Lead SailPoint IIQ implementation, enhancement, and upgrade initiatives, including migration from IdentityIQ v8 to newer platform versions.
• Develop and maintain integrations using SailPoint connectors for user aggregation, provisioning, deprovisioning, and entitlement management across enterprise applications.
• Support SailPoint disaster recovery planning, infrastructure rebuild activities, and operational readiness processes.
• Develop audit reports, compliance dashboards, certification reports, and support SOX, PCI, CPNI, and regulatory audit activities.
• Implement code changes across development, UAT, and production environments following SDLC, release management, and change control processes.
• Support SailPoint platform administration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and operational stability.
• Manage source code repositories, build processes, deployment activities, and documentation for identity governance and compliance reporting.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and collaborate with business, security, and infrastructure stakeholders to deliver IAM solutions.

What you need to have to be considered
• 7-9 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions.
• Strong expertise in SailPoint administration, workflows, lifecycle management, provisioning, access certification, aggregation, and governance capabilities.
• Experience with SailPoint version upgrades, platform modernization, and IdentityIQ infrastructure management.
• Strong development experience in Java and familiarity with SailPoint APIs, Beanshell scripting, and customization frameworks.
• Experience implementing IAM, IGA, RBAC, access governance, identity lifecycle management, and compliance controls.
• Knowledge of audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks including SOX, PCI, and identity governance requirements.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration, including Rocky Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, testing strategies, deployment processes, source code management, and release governance.
• Experience developing technical documentation, workflow diagrams, test plans, use cases, and operational procedures.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and leadership skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[114,500 - 134,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
