Full Job Description
About This Role:

We're looking for a full-time Senior RevOps Analytics Lead to join our Sales team reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations. This role is a remote role based in the United States.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping and scaling our GTM analytics function by building AI-enabled, self-service intelligence that drives smarter decision-making across bookings, pipeline, renewals, GRR, and customer lifecycle performance. This is not a data engineering or BI role. Our data engineering team owns the pipeline and infrastructure, so you'll own what comes after the data is ready: translating it into insights, narratives, and decision frameworks that shape how our GTM teams operate at every level. The value you create is measured in business impact, not technical output.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in GTM analytics, proactive insight generation, and AI-driven workflows, with a mindset focused on influencing decisions, not just delivering dashboards.

What You'll Do:

AI-Enabled Analytics & Self-Service
  • Drive a more self-service analytics environment so teams can answer routine questions independently while staying aligned on metric definitions and business context.
  • Lead the shift from static reporting toward AI-powered workflows - including anomaly detection, proactive insight surfacing, and natural language querying of GTM data.
  • Actively use AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and insight delivery - this is a hands-on expectation, not a future-state aspiration.

Revenue & GTM Analytics
  • Own the analytics foundation for our Sales, Customer Success, and broader GTM organization, with a focus on pipeline, bookings, ARR, GRR, NRR, renewals, churn risk, and customer health.
  • Build, maintain, and improve the dashboards, reporting layers, and metric definitions that leaders rely on for day-to-day decision making, forecast inspection, and executive reviews.
  • Define and govern core GTM metrics so the organization has a trusted source of truth across pipeline performance, retention, and revenue outcomes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities proactively by surfacing leading indicators, trend shifts, and performance gaps before they become business problems.
  • Support planning and operating rhythms through analytics for forecasting, capacity, segmentation, coverage, and performance management - including territory, capacity planning, and AOP analytics.

Stakeholder Partnership
  • Serve as a hands-on partner to Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Sales Enablement and Finance to turn business questions into clear data models, reporting, and actionable insights.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations, dashboards, and narratives for senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Improve the quality, consistency, and usability of data across systems including Salesforce, Gainsight, Sigma, Claude, Gong,io, SalesLoft, Clari.

This is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business. This role will require occasional travel for team meetings, training, or company events.

What We're Looking For:

The right person has done this before at a B2B SaaS company. They understand the full revenue lifecycle, they've built reporting that leaders actually trust, and they're comfortable operating as both a strategic thought partner and a hands-on builder.

Required
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue analytics, GTM analytics, revenue operations, or a closely related role in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience working across the revenue lifecycle - pipeline, forecasting, bookings, renewals, retention, GRR, and NRR.
  • Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience with modern BI tools - Sigma Computing strongly preferred; Tableau, Hex, or Looker also considered.
  • Comfort working directly in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse. You don't need to build pipelines, but you should be able to understand data model concepts and understand how data flows from source to reporting layer.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce; experience with Gainsight (health scores, renewal workflows, CS data) strongly preferred.
  • A track record of building executive-ready dashboards and reporting that leaders trust to run the business.
  • Experience defining business metrics, improving data quality, and establishing reporting governance across teams.
  • Ability to move fluidly between detailed analysis and high-level business context, and to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Active, hands-on experience using AI tools to improve analytics workflows.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analysis and clear recommendations.
  • Experience mentoring or developing analysts, with a desire to grow into formal team leadership.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with planning models, territory or capacity analytics, or customer health frameworks.
  • Familiarity with dbt or SQL-based data modeling.
  • Experience in a PE-backed or board-reporting environment.
  • Exposure to CPQ workflows and subscription data.
  • Experience with Gong, Clari, Kluster, or similar sales-tech platforms.

Our Compensation and Benefits: At Gainsight, we believe great work happens when teammates feel fully supported.
  • The starting base salary range for this role is $105,000 - $119,000 USD annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an annual bonus and participation in Gainsight's equity program.
  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package including fully covered medical premiums (employee-only), flexible PTO, 401(k) plan, dental and vision coverage, and remote work options. Additional benefits include a $10,000 lifetime fertility stipend and access to coworking spaces around the globe. You'll also enjoy dedicated Recharge Holidays - one long weekend each quarter to relax and reset.
