Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retirement plan services or a related field.
• Understanding of various retirement plan types and their compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in ADP/ACP testing and related compliance tests.
• Familiarity with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
• Experience with recordkeeping platforms essential for plan administration.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a client-focused setting.
• Basic knowledge of Relius Administration and relevant government forms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual administration for approximately 120-150 retirement plans.
• Handle the A-Z administration of 401(k), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, and Cash Balance Plans.
• Perform eligibility and contribution calculations, testing, and account reconciliations.
• Calculate and process distributions in collaboration with recordkeepers.
• Prepare and file Form 5500s accurately and on time.
• Draft plan amendments, terminations, and manage IRS audits as needed.
• Collaborate with actuaries for pension plan contributions and valuations.
• Engage with clients, advisors, auditors, and recordkeepers to ensure compliance.
