Full Job Description
As a Senior Research Analyst at JM Search, you will autonomously manage the complex research elements of multiple searches-leveraging your extensive expertise to effectively source, identify, and assess top talent. Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop & Execute Targeted Search Strategies
  • Partner with Recruiters and Client Partners to define search objectives and create focused research plans.
  • Leverage specialized knowledge in specific industries or functions to deliver high-impact, targeted candidate slates with minimal oversight.

Provide Advanced Market Research & Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitive assessments, including target companies, key executives, and emerging trends.
  • Stay current on industry news, using insights to guide searches and inform business development opportunities.

Independently Source & Engage Candidates
  • Identify, screen, and perform initial outreach to potential candidates across various channels, including online resources and internal databases.
  • Collaborate with Recruiters and Client Partners to refine candidate pools based on role requirements and evolving client needs.

Manage Internal Client Relationships Autonomously
  • Serve as a primary resource for internal stakeholders, proactively addressing needs and communicating key updates.
  • Effectively escalate issues to senior leadership when necessary while maintaining client satisfaction.

Coordinate Search Logistics & Documentation
  • Organize and schedule client meetings, candidate interviews, and internal team discussions, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Prepare essential materials-position descriptions, candidate write-ups, update reports, and meeting recaps- and maintain strict compliance with standards.

Maintain Database Accuracy & Compliance
  • Update internal systems (Thrive) with relevant search details, including candidate statuses, resumes, compensation data, and notes.
  • Encourage best practices within the team to uphold data integrity and consistency.

Contribute to Business Development & Resource Development
  • Support new business pitches by assembling relevant search examples, market maps, and promotional materials.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices for research, sourcing methods, and project management to foster professional growth.

Search Logistics Execution & Compliance - Manages logistics and ensures high standards of data accuracy, promoting consistency across team processes.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • More than 2 years of research and analysis experience in a recruiting, executive search and/or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; competitive intelligence/knowledge management advanced studies a plus.
  • Effective writing and editing skills coupled with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple research projects at once.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have proficiency in Internet research, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
