What this job involves:
The Senior Regional Operations Manager will lead regional mobile engineering and facilities operations across a multi-site portfolio, serving as a strategic partner to the Director of Mobile Engineering Services. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, engineering service delivery, financial management, compliance, workforce leadership, and client relationship management across multiple locations. The position requires a strong operational leader with extensive facilities management experience, technical expertise in building systems, and the ability to manage large-scale regional operations in fast-paced corporate environments.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Lead regional mobile engineering and facilities operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational efficiency, and compliance with client standards
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Operations Managers, engineering teams, vendors, and clients regarding operational issues, service delivery concerns, and critical incidents
  • Partner with the Director of Mobile Engineering Services to execute regional strategies, workforce planning initiatives, and client objectives
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Operations Managers and regional engineering teams
  • Oversee staffing models, recruitment efforts, succession planning, employee development, and workforce performance initiatives
  • Drive operational excellence through preventive maintenance programs, KPIs, SLAs, standardized procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage regional operating and capital budgets, including forecasting, financial analysis, variance reporting, and cost optimization strategies
  • Ensure compliance with JLL policies, client requirements, OSHA regulations, life safety standards, and local/state regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through operational reporting, strategic planning meetings, and executive-level communication


Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of facilities management or engineering operations experience within corporate, critical environment, healthcare, financial services, or large commercial portfolios
  • Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience managing regional teams, Operations Managers, or multi-site engineering operations
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, building automation systems, and critical infrastructure operations
  • Proven experiencemanaging operational budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and capital planning
  • Experience leading vendors, contractors, and cross-functional operational teams across multiple sites
  • Strong client relationship management and presentation skills with senior leadership stakeholders
  • Experience developing KPIs, SLAs, operational reporting, and continuous improvement programs
  • Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel regionally as needed to support operational requirements


Preferred:
  • Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, SMA, PMP, LEED, or equivalent industry credentials
  • Experience supporting mobile engineering services or regional field operations teams
  • Experience managing facilities operations within financial services, critical environments, healthcare, life sciences, or large corporate portfolios
  • Knowledge of energy management, sustainability initiatives, and operational optimization strategies
  • Experience leading large-scale operational transitions, account mobilizations, or portfolio integrations

Estimated compensation for this position:

140,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
