About the team and the role

Join eBay's Global Talent Acquisition team and play a key role in building the teams that power our business. As a Senior Recruiter based in Toronto, you'll play an important role in helping grow eBay's Toronto talent hub by attracting exceptional talent across Global Markets Experience and Growth teams. You'll serve as a trusted talent advisor, leading full-cycle recruiting, working closely with business leaders and cross-functional partners while delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.

What you will accomplish
  • Partner with hiring managers across key business functions including Strategy, Program Management, Category Management, Marketing and Product teams to develop thoughtful hiring strategies and deliver exceptional talent for critical business priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting, from intake through offer, ensuring an efficient and high-quality hiring experience for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies and cultivate established relationships across Toronto's talent ecosystem, including universities, professional associations, and community organizations-to build diverse pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by sharing talent market insights, competitive intelligence, and recruiting guidelines that help leaders make informed hiring decisions.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience by building authentic relationships, maintaining clear communication, and representing eBay's values throughout the hiring journey.
  • Partner with fellow recruiters, People Business Partners, and cross-functional teams to continuously improve recruiting processes, share best practices, and contribute to the success of eBay's growing Toronto talent hub.

What you will bring
  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a track record of hiring exceptional talent across various business functions
  • Consistent record of performing proactive sourcing and talent mapping, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions and build trusted partnerships with business leaders.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple searches while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A curious mindset with an eagerness to explore emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance sourcing strategies, improve efficiency, and elevate the candidate and hiring manager experience.


Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
C$102,800 - C$137,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
