Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Lead Developer to craft, evolve, and optimize solutions within our deeply personalized Salesforce platform. This hands-on technical lead position integrates strong Salesforce engineering proficiency with platform governance, mentoring tasks, and a concentrated focus on AI-enhanced development and automation.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Platform Engineering teams, Business Analysts, Administrators, and business collaborators to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and maintain customized Salesforce solutions supporting critical business functions and central initiatives.
  • Collaborate with agile teams and collaborators to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead development initiatives across one or more platform products, acting as the key liaison connecting product divisions with engineering staff.
  • Establish and promote engineering guidelines, coding standards, governance processes, and reusable frameworks.
  • Drive platform modernization initiatives including AI-enabled automation, performance optimization, and migration to modern Salesforce capabilities.
  • Identify and remediate architectural gaps, legacy implementations, and technical debt.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical strategy discussions, and solution development sessions.
  • Provide technical lead, mentoring, and coaching to developers across the team.
  • Champion operational excellence across code quality, security, testing, CI/CD, observability, and release management.
  • Support platform administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and long-term scalability.
  • Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Agentforce, Cursor AI, and Gemini.
  • Use Generative AI for code generation, test automation, documentation, debugging, optimization, and technical analysis.
  • Build and implement AI-enabled Salesforce solutions using MCP and AI Agents.
  • Promote responsible AI practices, including governance, privacy, compliance, and secure implementation standards.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted SDLC practices to improve engineering efficiency and delivery velocity.


Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including 3+ years working as a Lead Developer or in a role guiding technical efforts.
  • Proven experience working in large, highly customized Salesforce environments with complex integrations and large data volumes.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, Salesforce APIs and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Proven understanding of Salesforce architecture, build patterns, and development standards.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling such as Copado, Gearset, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with test automation platforms including AccelQ or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing enterprise application build.
  • Proven track record in Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong mentoring and partner management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills across business and engineering teams.
  • Strong ownership approach with the ability to drive technical decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Analytical problem-solver with a passion for innovation and modern engineering practices.


Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
C$142,400 - C$190,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including RRSP eligibility, various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
