What You'll Do: The Senior Quality Analyst is an experienced Quality Engineering professional responsible for leading quality activities within assigned initiatives and ensuring effective testing across complex features, applications, and end-to-end business flows.
This role operates as the primary QA point of contact within the delivery team, providing direction on test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and release readiness, while working closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders. The Senior Quality Analyst helps ensure quality is built in throughout the SDLC through early requirements analysis, risk-based testing, comprehensive test coverage, and effective coordination of testing activities.
The Senior Quality Analyst plays a critical role in improving product quality, identifying and managing quality risks, strengthening team-level quality execution, and providing guidance to junior analysts while ensuring testing aligns with established Quality Engineering processes and standards.
Testing & Execution
- Develop comprehensive test strategy documentation outlining the direction for all testing activities throughout an initiative's lifecycle
- Lead QA activities for assigned initiatives, including test planning, execution coordination, and sign-off support.
- Provide guidance and day-to-day direction to junior QEs, including review of test cases and testing approach.
- Support defect triage discussions and recommend risk-based testing priorities.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for complex features, applications, and end-to-end business flows.
- Lead cross-functional integration and end-to-end testing efforts to ensure comprehensive validation of system interactions and workflows.
- Design, review, and maintain test cases based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring adequate coverage of business and technical risks.
- Validate fixes and retest defects to ensure resolution and prevent regressions.
- Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects with clear reproduction steps; work closely with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
Sprint & Team Collaboration
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for the Agile team or project.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives, providing QA leadership and direction.
- Lead and actively contribute to requirements refinement sessions, ensuring clarity, completeness, and testability of requirements.
- Work closely with Agile teams (developers/PO/BSA) to clarify expected behavior, dependencies, and edge cases.
- Ensure all stories and features meet the Definition of Done from a quality and risk perspective.
Documentation & Support
- Maintain and review clear test evidence, test scenarios, and documentation as required.
- Coordinate and support test data setup and environment readiness across testing phases.
- Ensure testing activities align with established QA processes and team standards.
- Provide test status, risk assessment, and release readiness updates to the team and stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Test Automation Engineers to identify automation candidates and support automation coverage from a functional perspective.
- Share functional knowledge and testing insights with the Agile team to improve overall product quality.
- Proven self-starter with ability to work highly independently.
What You Bring:- Minimum 5 years in a Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering position or equivalent
- Strong understanding of QE methodologies and hands-on testing approaches.
- Advanced requirements analysis and interpretation skills.
- Extensive experience writing functional test cases for Sanity, Smoke, System, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
- Strong functional and integration testing proficiency.
- Proven defect management and triage experience.
- Solid knowledge of test design techniques and risk-based testing

Broadband Salary Range: $64,000 - $106,000.
Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $85,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
