POSITION SUMMARY:The
SeniorQA/QC Manager leads and directs project quality activities under the leadershipand guidance of the Manhattan Site Quality & Commissioning Manager. The SR QA/QCManager leads the QA/QC process and supports the Manhattan Project Team,including the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Engineer. The SR QA/QCManager is a flexible and adaptable team player who possesses strongcommunication and client service skills. The goal of the SR QA/QC Manager is todeliver a reliable, repeatable, and maintainable project that adheres to allaspects of the design.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- All qualities/ responsibilities of a QA/QC Manager, plus:
- Review drawing and specification sets during project pursuits and for committed projects across multiple regions.
- Be a presenter in interviews and business development meetings.
- Provide in-field quality inspections.
- Create scopes for and manage third-party testing and commissioning agent contracts
- Train and mentor other MEP
- Lead the development of project-level programs
- Assist with the development of corporate-level best practices and initiatives
- Project-level leadership or engagement with the client and client SMEs
- Other duties as assigned
JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES GUIDELINES:- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Manhattan document control and scheduling software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- BIM360 experience preferred, but not required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent 15 years of industry experience
- Proven ability to manage projects in excess of $75 million
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS:- You must be adaptable to all types of weather conditions and traverse and inspect all areas of a construction job site, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day.
- Ability to repeat the same movements.
- Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls.
- Ability to compose, send, and reply to emails and written correspondence.
- Must be able to lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Travel may be required occasionally, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver's License).
- Exposure to characteristic construction site hazards.
