We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in mobile test automation and hands-on experience validating AI chatbot workflows. This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for native mobile applications while ensuring AI-powered conversational experiences meet functional, quality, and user experience expectations.
The ideal candidate has built Appium automation frameworks from scratch, understands mobile automation architecture, and has experience testing AI chatbot or conversational AI workflows in production or enterprise environments.
Must Have Qualifications
• 7+ years of Software QA / SDET experience
• Strong experience building and maintaining mobile automation frameworks from scratch using Appium
• Hands-on automation experience supporting native iOS and Android applications
• Strong understanding of mobile automation architecture, framework design, reusable components, Page Object Model, and framework scalability
• Experience working with real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest, etc.)
• Experience automating end-to-end mobile user flows including authentication, navigation, push notifications, deep links, and API-integrated workflows
• Experience with Java (preferred) or another object-oriented programming language
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools
• Experience with SQL for backend data validation
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
AI / Chatbot Requirements
• Hands-on experience testing AI chatbot or conversational AI workflows
• Experience validating chatbot responses, conversational flows, prompts, context retention, and user interactions
• Experience performing functional testing of AI-powered user experiences rather than only traditional UI testing
• Familiarity with validating AI response quality, edge cases, and conversational behavior
• Experience working alongside AI or GenAI development teams is highly preferred
Nice to Have
• Experience with LLM-powered applications or Generative AI products
• Experience with prompt engineering, AI-assisted testing, or AI evaluation tools
• Experience testing voice assistants, virtual assistants, IVR, or conversational interfaces
• Experience with AI agents or workflow automation platforms
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic
