What you'll be doing:- Conduct psychological screenings and thorough clinical assessments through interviews and review of inmate records.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, physicians, and security personnel to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, modifying them based on ongoing evaluations.
- Perform regular rounds, including in segregated or confined areas, to monitor and support mental health needs.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and evidence-based psychological treatments.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to address and mitigate behavioral escalations, promoting inmate stability and overall mental health.
Requirements:- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in Kansas
- Minimum of two years clinical experience, with at least one year in a comparable role
