Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of mechanical/plumbing construction project management experience
• Experience leading $30M+ MEP projects
• Strong background in commercial or industrial construction
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, hydronic, and other MEP systems
• Experience managing project teams and developing junior staff
• Strong financial and change-order management skills
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, P6, or MS Project
• Field/trade background as a plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC mechanic is a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent senior-level construction or trade experience will be considered

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to completion, covering buyout, construction, and closeout phases
• Manage project schedule, budget, quality, and overall profitability
• Mentor and support Project Managers (PMs), Assistant Project Managers (APMs), and Project Engineers
• Oversee major equipment procurement and specialized subcontractor management
• Coordinate BIM and prefabrication activities
• Collaborate closely with field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule
• Handle change orders, forecasting, billing, and overall project costs
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and general contractors
• Supervise commissioning, inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts
• Identify project risks early and devise effective solutions.
