Job DescriptionOverview:We are seeking experienced Preconstruction Managers to support our growing teams in Asheville and Winston-Salem. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial construction preconstruction, with experience bridging estimating, client communication, and operations coordination.
Requirements:- Proven experience in commercial construction preconstruction management
- Preference for candidates with prior operations experience
- Experience managing both estimating responsibilities and client-facing deliverables
- Ability to work closely with Operations teams throughout the preconstruction process
- Strong understanding of Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) and Design-Build delivery models
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the preconstruction process from initial planning through project handoff
- Develop estimates, budgets, schedules, and client presentations
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure constructability and successful project execution
- Partner with owners, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders throughout the preconstruction phase
- Support accurate project planning and risk identification
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong estimating background with client-facing experience
- Experience working on commercial construction projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners
- Experience supporting CMAR and Design-Build projects
